Easy Homemade Granola (Granola fácil)

I do love a good bowl of crunchy, nutty granola, and there are many good reasons to make it at home: * it’s incredible easy, *you know exactly what you are eating, *you can adapt it to your taste, *it’s cheaper than buying from the store.

  • 1 cup Oats
  • 1/4 cup Ground Flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (or other)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup (or other)
  • 1/3 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 2/3 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 2/3 cup chopped nuts (Pecans, almonds, walnuts)
  • 1/2  chopped dates
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp goji

Preheat oven 180ºC.

Melt and mix the coconut oil, the syrup and the butter.

Mix all the other ingredients together, add the melted mixture to it and stir until everything is coated.
Pour the mix onto a lined baking tray, (spread evenly) and bake for 30-40 minutes stirring twice until the granola has browned. Let it cool completely and place in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 weeks.

🌱TIPS: Granola, it’s very versatile. You can satisfy all your cravings by substituting any ingredient, well aside from the oats 🙂 … add chocolate, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, shredded coconut, cranberries, hemp seeds, ground ginger, apple chips, flaked coconut, pistachios, ground cardamom, sultanas, raisins or currants, cacao nibs…

PT:

  • 1 caneca de flocos de aveia
  • 1/4  caneca sementes de linhaça
  • 2 c. sopa óleo de coco 
  • 2 c. sopa manteiga de amêndoa (ou outra)
  • 2 c. sopa de adoçante líquido ( ex: geleia de milho, arroz) 
  •  2 c. sopa sementes de sésamo 
  • 1/3 caneca de sementes de girasol 
  • 2/3 caneca de damascos secos (cortados)
  • 1/2 caneca de tâmaras (cortadas)
  • 2/3 caneca de frutos secos (amêndoas, avelãs, castanha, nozes pecan..) 
  • 2 c. sopa de goji

Pré-aquecer o forno a 180º.

Derreter e misturar o oleo de coco, o adoçante e a manteiga.

Misturar todos os outros ingredientes numa taça e  juntar a mistura derretida até ficar bem envolvido. Espalhar a granola num tabuleiro com papel vegetal e levar ao forno por 30-40 minutos, mexer a mistura duas vezes durante o processo. Retirar a granola do forno quando estiver douradinha.

Deixar arrefecer completamente e colocar num recipiente de vido que dê para fechar. Guardar a temperatura ambiente até 4 semanas.

🌱DICAS: A granola, é muito versátil, por isso pode-se satisfazer todos nossos desejos, substituindo qualquer ingrediente, menos a aveia claro 🙂 aqui ficam algumas sugestões de fazer crescer agua na boca 😋 chocolate, canela, sementes de abóbora, sementes de chia, coco ralado, sementes de cânhamo, gengibre em pó,  maçã desidratada, pistácios, cardamomo moído , sultanas, uvas passas, groselhas, pepitas de cacau…

    Thank you for your post & recipe!
    I’ve always wanted to make my own granola but most recipes I see are full of butter & sugar – don’t get me wrong, I love both, but I usually find most granolas too sweet.
    I see that you use healthy oils and hardly any syrup! I am trying this!
